People ask me every day, how much does it cost to build a website?

Especially people want to know, what are the website design prices I should expect to pay?

This type of question is kind of like asking, “how high is high?”

It really depends on what type of website you are trying to build. Are you looking to build an affiliate site? Are you looking to build a social network? Do you simply want to write a blog?

The next question I usually ask them, is what are you trying to achieve? Is your goal to make money, or do you simply want to pass along information to your visitors?

Most times people tell me that their goal IS to make money. While they may have a higher purpose involved, the underlying goal is usually to make money and live the life of an Internet entrepreneur.
